Artem Penzin, Director of the Alga SEZ Management Company, took part in a round table at the INNOPROM Forum. Belarus”. During his speech, he spoke about the future of the Russian-Belarusian investment cluster: its importance, geographical location and state support for residents.
The purpose of the new mechanism is to create favorable conditions for the implementation of investment projects.
Previously, the cluster will appear in the Ufa district of Bashkortostan on an area of 106 hectares. And in Belarus, in the FEZ Minsk on the Radian site with an area of 25 hectares.
What awaits residents?
- accelerated obtaining of resident status due to the support of projects on the principle of “one window”;
- provision of connection points to engineering infrastructures;
- land and tax preferences.
The section also discussed the experience of the republics in implementing joint projects using the example of cooperation between JSC MAZ and JSC UTTZ. Enterprises are engaged in the production of urban electric vehicles. According to Rustam Muratov, head of the economic unit of the Government of Bashkortostan, the implementation of 10 such projects will ensure a 2-fold increase in trade turnover between our republics.
