The RB Development Corporation held a meeting with representatives of the Turkish company Agropro. Investors plan to build a plant in the republic for the production of equipment for granaries, cleaning and drying seeds, as well as for the production of flour and cereals.
The economic feasibility of the project is due to the high demand of the agro-industrial complex of the republic for granaries. Recall that in 2022, the grain harvest in the region exceeded 5 million tons.
The estimated volume of investments in the project will amount to 7 billion rubles. More than 200 jobs will be created at the new plant. The investor, with the support of the Bashkortostan Development Corporation, has already started selecting a site for construction.
So, during the visit to Bashkortostan, representatives of Agropro Hasan Tosun and Mustafa Ozkylych got acquainted with the promising territories of the Ufa Industrial Park and the Alga special economic zone.
— Turkish colleagues have already indicated specific intentions to create a production facility in Bashkortostan and, of course, an important point in the implementation of their project is the selection of a site suitable for them in terms of logistics, infrastructure and the possibility of establishing partnerships with other enterprises. In the course of communication with representatives of the holding, we determined that first of all they are interested in the localization of the enterprise in one of the preferential zones of the region, in particular, in the SEZ “Alga”, the territory of which in the near future may cover the industrial park “Ufa”. There are special preferences for residents here. We will work on this issue and will soon present to the investor a pool of free sites corresponding to the project parameters,” said Nail Gabbasov, General Director of the Development Corporation of the Republic of Bashkortostan.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to present the project at the “Investchas” and discuss measures to support it from the republic.
