As part of the International Business Week, representatives of the authorities and preferential zones of Belarus and Donbass visited the special economic zone “Alga”. The delegation included Andrei Sobko, First Deputy Head of the Administration of the Gomel-Raton Free Economic Zone, Gennady Boykachev, Head of the Department for Attracting and Servicing Investors of the Administration of the Gomel-Raton FEZ, and Ilya Barkhatov, First Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Donbass Development Corporation.
The guests were introduced to the SEZ sites, introduced to the infrastructure and preferences that apply to residents. Colleagues also visited the production facilities of residents – the enterprises “ZASPORT” and “Arcade”, where they were shown the process of creating products.
Nail Gabbasov, General Director of the Development Corporation of the Republic of Bashkortostan, commented on the meeting.
— A very important element of development is the opportunity to exchange experience. We showed our colleagues the infrastructure that is being created in the special economic zone, and, of course, we heard their opinion. I would like to note that our colleagues highly appreciated the work we are doing to create comfortable conditions for investors,” Nail Gabbasov said.
Recall that in June of this year, the territory of the special economic zone “Alga” increased due to the inclusion of the sites of the Ufa Industrial Park in its composition. To date, the residents of the SEZ are 20 companies with a total investment of more than 60 billion rubles.
