A working meeting was held in the special economic zone “Alga” with the participation of Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Belarus Ilshat Tazhitdinov, representatives of the Development Corporation – the management company of the preferential zone, and residents of the SEZ.
During the meeting, the experts visited the production facilities under construction, and also studied the progress of work on providing residents with engineering infrastructure. Thus, the construction of water supply and sanitation networks, internal highways of the first SEZ site in the city of Ishimbai is at the final stage. On the third site, in the Sterlitamak district, construction of similar facilities has begun. The construction of new and reconstruction of existing access roads to the first and second sites has also been completed.
Simultaneously with the creation of infrastructure, resident enterprises are being actively built in the SEZ. In addition to the existing Arkada and ZUR enterprises, three more new industrial plants are being built here. So, in the near future, the SEZ will launch the production of an automated sewing factory for sewing sportswear of the company “ZASPORT”. With the assistance of the regional Government, personnel selection and training of employees in the specialty “Sewing equipment operator” is carried out at the enterprise.
Since August 2022, the company “M Sintez” has begun the construction of a plant for the production of cetane-boosting additives for diesel fuels, and in April 2023, the “DOGA Financial Group” entered the site, implementing an investment project for the construction of a plant for the processing of hydrocarbon gases into aromatic hydrocarbons. The commissioning of these facilities is planned by residents for the end of 2024 – the beginning of 2025.
To date, 12 residents have been registered in the SEZ “Alga” with a total investment of about 42 billion rubles and the creation of more than two thousand new jobs.
