Nail Gabbasov, Director General of the Bashkortostan Development Corporation, held talks with potential investors who consider Bashkortostan as a site for the placement of an enterprise for the production of enzyme preparations.
According to investors, it is assumed that this will be an import-substituting production, since today about 95% of the enzyme market is occupied by foreign companies.
At the moment, the initiator of the project, which is planned to invest about 2 billion rubles, is in search of a site. So, based on the announced parameters, the most suitable option for the localization of production was the special economic zone “Alga”. By becoming its resident, the investor will be able to implement the project using tax and customs preferences, and will also be provided with all necessary engineering and transport infrastructure.
Following the results of the first stage of negotiations, it was decided to define the technical parameters of the project in more detail and continue work on the investor’s entry into the region.
