The experience of the Bashkortostan Development Corporation interested the participants of the All-Russian ESG Forum “SO.ZNANIE”. It takes place from December 1 to December 3 in Nizhny Novgorod.
Nail Gabbasov, General Director of the Development Corporation, and Artem Penzin, Director of the management company of the SEZ “Alga” and the Ufa Industrial Park, took part in one of the discussion platforms in the format of the VCS.
They introduced the participants to the preferential zones managed by the Development Corporation, and also talked about the implementation of ESG principles in these territories, which imply compliance by enterprises with environmental, social and corporate norms. During the discussion, clarifying questions were received from the participants, which indicates their interest in the presented experience.
During the forum, Andrey Shpilenko, Director of the Association of Clusters, Technoparks and SEZS of Russia, praised the work on the implementation of ESG principles at the Alga SEZ and the Ufa Industrial Park, noting that these are pilot projects for the implementation of ESG principles and their implementation is successful.
