The Yalta International Economic Forum, which will be held in Ufa on December 5 as part of the International Business Week, will host a meeting of the expert platform of the National Association of Investment and Development Agencies (NAAIR) together with the Association of Industrial Parks of Russia “Industrial Parks: modern development trends and government support measures”. The participants of the section will discuss the development trends of the country’s industrial parks and current measures of state support for residents of this category of preferential zones.
– Bashkiria has become one of the clear leaders and ranks third among all regions of Russia in terms of the number of industrial parks. Almost all types of industrial infrastructure are represented in the Republic – private and public industrial parks, technoparks, clusters, SEZs and there are management companies that have been successfully operating for more than 10 years. Therefore, the industrial park theme will take a key place in the program of the Yalta Forum, which will be held in Ufa,” said Denis Zhuravsky, Executive Director of the Association of Industrial Parks of Russia.
A representative of the Development Corporation of the Republic of Bashkortostan will talk about the experience of attracting investments and managing territories with preferential treatment in Bashkortostan. The Agency is the management company of such preferential zones of the region as the Ufa Industrial Park and the Alga Special Economic Zone.
– Today, preferential zones are a stakeholder for those who are interested in profitable investments and successful industrial activities. That is why the main objectives of the meeting are to exchange the most effective practices, discuss global challenges for the development of industrial parks in the country and study government support measures provided to their residents in various regions,” said Nail Gabbasov, Director General of the Development Corporation of the Republic of Bashkortostan.
