A new resident has been registered in the Alga Special Economic Zone. It became the Belarusian company 1AK-GROUP. On the territory of the SEZ “Alga”, the new resident intends to build a plant for the production of separators for the production of batteries. The cost of the project is estimated at 2.1 billion rubles. The company plans to create 80 new jobs.
The investor received the resident status with the support of the management company of the SEZ “Alga”, the Development Corporation of the Republic of Bashkortostan. The agency selected a site for the investor and helped in the preparation of documents for applying for residency.
– Production will be located at the third SEZ site in Sterlitamak district. The area of the production complex will be about 10 thousand square meters. It is planned to launch production in 2026,” said Nail Gabbasov, General Director of the Development Corporation of the Republic of Bashkortostan.
1AK-GROUP has become the 24th resident of the Alga Special Economic Zone. So, to date, the total declared investment volume of all residents is 62.4 billion rubles. As a result of the implementation of their projects, more than three thousand new jobs will be created in the SEZ.
Recall that in December of this year, the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia, together with the Association of Clusters, Technoparks and SEZs of Russia, summed up the results of the VIII National Rating of investment Attractiveness of special economic zones, according to which the SEZ “Alga” took the seventh place in the rating, rising by one line over the year. In addition, the experts awarded the SEZ “Alga” the first place in the special nomination “Stable growth”.
