The authorities of Bashkortostan signed an agreement with a new resident of the SEZ “Alga”

The company “Bioron”, which intends to open vitamin B2 production in Bashkortostan, has signed an Agreement on the residency of the SEZ “Alga”. The document was signed between the resident, the Development Corporation of the Republic of Bashkortostan and the government of the region. Next, the company will be entered in the Register of SEZ Residents and will receive a corresponding passport from the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation.

The BIORON company, which is part of the Salavat Industrial Technopark group of companies, plans to build a modern production facility for the production of riboflavin with a total capacity of 900 tons per year, having invested 1.53 billion rubles in the project with the creation of 27 new jobs. According to the business plan, the expertise of which was carried out by specialists of the Development Corporation, it is planned to start the project this year,” explained Nail Gabbasov, General Director of the Development Corporation of the Republic of Bashkortostan. – In the current conditions, import substitution has become a very relevant topic. And the implementation of this project is aimed precisely at replacing products supplied from Western Europe and China.
Bioron LLC was registered in July 2021 in the Sterlitamak district, where taxes from the company’s activities will be received. To date, this is the 11th resident of the special economic zone “Alga”.
