Residents of the special economic zone “Alga” and the industrial park “Ufa” invest more than 80 billion rubles in the republic. This was reported in the regional Development Corporation of Bashkortostan, which is their management company. As of April of this year, 12 companies with a total investment of about 42 billion rubles with the creation of more than two thousand new jobs have the status of a SEZ resident. Residents of the industrial park are 18 enterprises. The declared volume of investments in their projects is over 36 billion rubles with the creation of more than 600 jobs.
– As the management company of the largest preferential zones of the republic, the Development Corporation monitors their stable functioning and development. To date, eight out of 18 residents of Ufa carry out the production of industrial products, the rest are at the design or construction stage. Of course, one of the most important parts of our work now is the construction of a production complex with an area of 21 thousand square meters, in which the Belarusian company Amkodor will place a plant for the production of machinery and equipment for post-harvest grain processing. In addition, together with Russian Railways, we are working on the construction of an alternative railway access road to the industrial park,” said Nail Gabbasov, Director General of the Development Corporation of the Republic of Bashkortostan.
As of April, two companies are considered as potential residents of the special economic zone “Alga”. The volume of investments planned by them is over 5.5 billion rubles with the creation of about 120 new jobs. Current residents are at various stages of the implementation of their projects.
– We are constantly in contact with our residents, helping them to solve emerging issues. So, at the stage of construction and installation works, the companies “Fabrika Zasport” and “M Sintez” are now located, six residents are at the stage of design and pre-design work, two enterprises have received a construction permit. In addition to attracting residents to the SEZ, our tasks include providing the necessary engineering infrastructure. Therefore, work in this direction is progressing very actively at all four sites. For example, on site No. 1, networks of on–site and off-site water supply systems, sanitation, highways, as well as storm sewers are being built, Nail Gabbasov added.
Recall that in March of this year, an application was submitted to the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia for the expansion of the territory of the special economic zone “Alga”. If the application is approved, the territory of the Ufa Industrial Park will be included in the SEZ.
– This is a very important step for us. Thus, we strive to increase the possibility of implementing investment projects with the use of support measures operating only in the SEZ. As a result of the expansion of the SEZ “Alga”, new residents will be able to claim tax benefits, as well as take advantage of the free customs zone,” Nail Gabbasov summed up.
