A delegation from Udmurtia visited the fifth site of the Alga SEZ– the Ufa Industrial Park. The guests got acquainted with the territory of the park. According to colleagues, Ufa is a well–planned territory. Of particular interest was the infrastructure provided and maintained by the SEZ management company, the Bashkortostan Development Corporation. There is an operation service on the territory of the park for this purpose.
– Bashkortostan has already come a long way in creating and developing preferential territories. The Alga SEZ and the Ufa Industrial Park are full–fledged ecosystems where the investor receives tax preferences, clear and predictable operating rules. We actively share our experience with colleagues from other regions, because the strengthening of the Russian economy is based on the successes of each region,” said Artem Penzin, Director of the Alga SEZ management company.
One of the key issues discussed during the meeting with the management of Prompark Management Company JSC was pricing. In addition, they focused on attracting government funding for the development of preferential zones and tax benefits for residents at the federal and regional levels.
– The meeting was very constructive, the colleagues shared their invaluable experience and accumulated knowledge. This information will be processed and used by us as part of the promotion of our special economic zone in accordance with regulatory requirements, and the realization of the investment attractiveness of the Republic of Udmurtia,” said Nikolay Chepkasov, Director of Construction at Prompark Management Company JSC.
They also discussed the cost of renting land, the role of management companies in organizing a free customs zone for residents. Following the visit, the delegates noted the high importance of the information provided in terms of production facilities, infrastructure and operation.
