IN BASHKORTOSTAN, RESIDENTS OF THE SEZ “ALGA” WILL BE TRANSFERRED TO A NEW TAX MONITORING REGIME

Residents of the special economic zone “Alga”, located in Bashkortostan, and other SEZs of the country will be transferred to a new tax monitoring system. This was discussed during a panel discussion within the framework of the Entrepreneurship Day of the International Exhibition and Forum “Russia”. The speakers of the section were Vitaly Altabaev, Director of the Regional Development Department of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, Mikhail Labudin, Director of the Association of Clusters, Technoparks and SEZ, and other federal experts, and representatives of management companies of preferential zones became its participants. Bashkortostan was presented at the forum by representatives of the Development Corporation, the management company of the SEZ “Alga”.

Within the framework of the section, the participants discussed changes in tax legislation, which were approved by the President of the Russian Federation and entered into force in January this year, and the mechanism for the transition of SEZ residents to the new system. The innovations were commented on by Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan Andrey Nazarov.

– The innovations will make it possible to digitize the accounting activities of residents, transfer the relevant checks to an online format, speeding up the timing of their conduct, as well as reduce the time for VAT refunds, as a result of which the interaction of investors with tax authorities will be improved. The Development Corporation, which performs the functions of the management company of the SEZ Alga, is working with residents in this direction,” said Andrey Nazarov.

– We see only a positive effect from the innovations. That is why we have promptly started working on this issue with residents, who, in turn, note the readiness to switch to a new monitoring system,” said Nail Gabbasov, Director General of the Development Corporation of the Republic of Bashkortostan.

As Maxim Reshetnikov, Minister of Economic Development of Russia, previously noted, tax monitoring was provided only for large companies whose basic taxes for the year amounted to at least 100 million rubles, and annual income was at least one billion rubles. Due to new amendments to the Federal Law, companies with lower tax and monetary turnover will now be able to afford tax monitoring.
