Small and medium-sized businesses from 26 single-industry towns in Russia and 27 adjacent special economic zones can receive 18.3 billion rubles of concessional financing until 2030. The new joint program of the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia and the SME Corporation is designed to support entrepreneurs working in industry, logistics, tourism, science, healthcare, sports and other priority sectors.
According to Maxim Reshetnikov, head of the Federal Ministry of Economic Development, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are creating new infrastructure and jobs, as a result, population outflow is decreasing and a more comfortable environment and quality of life are being formed. State support measures should take into account local specifics and focus on supporting the economic sectors necessary for the development of these territories. The list of special economic zones covered by the program also includes SEZ “Alga” (Bashkortostan).
For us, every initiative is not a figure in a report, but a step towards the socio-economic growth of Bashkortostan. For more than 5 years, the Corporation has been supporting residents of the Alga SEZ at all stages of project implementation. As part of the gratuitous support, our team assists residents in obtaining state support measures and attracting financing. Thus, this program will reduce the financial burden on SMEs and accelerate the launch of production, Nail Gabbasov, Director General of the Bashkortostan Development Corporation, emphasized.
Investment loans in the amount of up to 200 million rubles at 10% per annum are available to residents of the Alga SEZ. The preferential rate is valid for 5 years. It should be recalled that the management company of the SEZ “Alga” is the Bashkortostan Development Corporation.
