On August 4, Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic Ilshat Tazhitdinov paid a working visit to the special economic zone “Alga”, who held a meeting on the creation of engineering and transport infrastructure facilities, as well as the construction of industrial production facilities at one of the sites. The meeting was attended by the heads of the administrations of Ishimbay and Sterlitamak districts, representatives of the Development Corporation and contracting organizations.
The issues of connecting residents’ production facilities to engineering and energy infrastructure facilities were discussed at the site. The course of construction of water supply and sanitation networks was considered. Particular attention was paid to how the work on the creation of access roads to the sites of the special economic zone is progressing. This is the reconstruction of the Embankment Street in Ishimbai and the Sterlitamak-Salavat highway in the area adjacent to the exit from site No. 3, as well as the construction of the highway to site No. 1.
As Ilshat Tazhitdinov noted, it is extremely important that in the difficult economic conditions of the sanctions pressure, the residents of the SEZ do not slow down the pace they have gained and are actively building. In turn, the Government, together with the Development Corporation, which is the management company of the preferential zone, are systematically working on infrastructure development and creating the necessary conditions for the timely construction and launch of industrial production.
At the first site of the SEZ “Alga”, the companies “Arcade” and “ZUR”, which launched the first stage of production in December 2021, are building new buildings. In particular, the production association “Arcade” complements the sewing capacity of working clothes with a new glove shop. An enterprise for the production of sportswear is being built next door. The project is being implemented by the ZASPORT factory. The launch of both production facilities in the commissioning mode is expected this year.
As a result, instructions were given to ensure the timely commissioning of infrastructure facilities, to provide maximum assistance to residents in accessing the necessary energy and utility resources.
