Uzbek companies in the light industry are considering locating production facilities in Bashkortostan. This was discussed during negotiations between the Namangan region authorities, business circles of Uzbekistan and the management of the special economic zone Alga. Entrepreneurs became interested in doing business in Bashkortosstan, particularly on the territory of SEZ Alga.
The management company of SEZ “Alga”, the Development Corporation of Bashkirtostan, has been discussing prospects for cooperation with colleagues from Uzbekistan led by Nail Gabbasov, CEO.
–We have established close cooperation with Uzbekistan. Therefore, today we are working on a large-scale project – the creation of a joint technopark, where we are actively attracting investors from Bashkortostan. At the same time, we are interested in attracting Uzbek entrepreneurs as residents of SEZ “Alga.” To do this, a management company is building engineering and transport infrastructure. The region is also ready to offer unprecedented tax and customs benefits, as well as pre-built production sites,– Nail Gabbasov said.
During the negotiations, Uzbek businessmen shared their experience in their region and emphasized the importance of establishing mutually beneficial relations between business communities of the two countries. In addition, they pointed out a clear competitive advantage and favorable conditions for potential SEZ residents among similar preferential areas.
