SEZ «ALGA»:

Chelyabinsk Region will use Bashkortostan’s experience in the development of preferential territories

Chelyabinsk Region will use Bashkortostan’s experience in the development of preferential territories

Representatives of the Chelyabinsk Region got acquainted with the activities of residents of the Ufa Industrial Park, which has been the fifth site of the Alga special economic zone since 2023. Following the visit, the guests noted that in the future they would use the republic’s experience in developing SEZs, attracting residents, creating infrastructure facilities and production facilities.

Last year in the Chelyabinsk region we created the Yuzhnouralskaya SEZ, which specializes in industrial high-tech production. Therefore, the experience that the Republic of Bashkortostan already has is very important for us. We are only at the beginning of our journey, and the special economic zone Alga is in the top 3 in Russia in the National SEZ Ranking. Being at one of its sites, I would like to note that the scale and timing of the development of the SEZ are impressive,” said Anton Artemov, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Chelyabinsk Region.

Representatives of the region visited the production sites of the following companies: JSC PK “Rossiber” (industrial paints, lubricants and lubricants), LLC “Amkodor-Agidel” (grain drying equipment), LLC “RB Motors” (snowmobiles). The development of investment infrastructure is one of the key vectors of Bashkortostan’s economic policy. For the convenience of investors, a comprehensive system of platforms and modes has been created in the republic.

The visit of colleagues from the Chelyabinsk region is both an opportunity to present the republic’s achievements and strengthen interregional cooperation. It is important for us that investors see Bashkortostan as a region that offers working tools and a high level of support for SEZ residents. The entire investment infrastructure of the republic operates as a single mechanism, offering businesses ready-made solutions for launching projects. I am confident that working together will attract new investments and expand sales markets for the products of our enterprises, said Airat Fahretdinov, First Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Investment Policy of the Republic of Bashkortostan.

According to the Bashkortostan Development Corporation, since 2013, residents of the industrial park have invested more than 41 billion rubles in their projects. Today, enterprises from various industries are operating in the park: from the production of furniture and paints to the production of agricultural and oil and gas equipment. Recall that the organization is the management company of the infrastructure site and SEZ.

Creating comfortable conditions for investors is a priority task set by the republic’s leadership. Thanks to our “one-stop shop” support and existing preferential platforms, project initiators significantly save time and financial resources, speeding up the launch of projects. One of these sites is the Ufa Industrial Park, which is 98% full. The appearance of each of the residents has a positive socio-economic effect for Bashkortostan, as new jobs are created, tax revenues to the budget are growing, Nail Gabbasov, Director General of the Development Corporation of the Republic of Bashkortostan, said.

In addition, during the visit, the provision of land plots, the construction of communal infrastructure, the connection of residents to it, and more were discussed.

The three delegations also included the heads of the Ministry of Industry, New Technologies and Natural Resources, the Development Corporation, the Industrial Development Fund and 26 industrial enterprises of the region.
