Bashkortostan has signed four new agreements with potential residents of the Alga SEZ

At the International Business Week in Ufa, a number of agreements were signed with potential residents of the Alga special economic zone. The companies intend to invest a total of about 8 billion rubles in their initiatives. The management company of the SEZ “Alga” is the Bashkortostan Development Corporation.

– Traditionally, the International Business Week has become a platform for new contacts and consolidation of agreements reached. The signed agreements are another step towards the sustainable development of Bashkortostan and the growth of the republic’s economy. Potential residents of the Alga SEZ plan to create about 300 jobs,” said Nail Gabbasov, General Director of the Bashkortostan Development Corporation.

In particular, GIS Nefteservice has concluded 2 agreements worth over 5 billion rubles. The investor plans to implement projects for the production of modular block equipment for the oil and gas industry, the production of residential and household block modules.

JSC “Civil Technologies” intends to organize the production of electric generating systems and gas piston installations. The volume of investments is estimated at 320 million rubles.

– When choosing a location for a new production facility, we carefully analyzed many factors: infrastructural capabilities, logistical accessibility and, of course, business conditions. We are convinced that preferences for residents of the Alga SEZ not only reduce costs, but also form long-term competitive advantages of enterprises. This is exactly the format of partnership that allows businesses to grow and the region to gain new points of economic development,” said Robert Nagimov, Deputy General Director of Civil Technologies JSC.

LLC “PKF “GEO ENGINEERING”, in turn, plans to launch the production of oil and gas equipment for hydraulic fracturing. The initiator of the project plans to invest about 2.3 billion rubles in its implementation.
