In the special economic zone “Alga”, the Head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, and the head of ECOPROM CONSTRUCTION, Azat Shamsuarov, laid a symbolic time capsule in the foundation of a future plant for the production of autoclaved aerated concrete and dry building mixes.
The event was also attended by Prime Minister of the regional Government Andrei Nazarov, First Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic – Minister of Economic Development and Investment Policy Rustam Muratov, Director General of the Regional Development Corporation Nail Gabbasov, representatives of the Sterlitamak district Administration and the company.
– Today is an important event for our republic. We are launching the creation of a much-needed production facility. It is encouraging that the economy of Bashkortostan remains attractive for investment in difficult conditions. We have created all conditions for the comfortable activities of residents of the special economic zone “Alga”, which has twice been recognized as the most dynamically developing SEZ in Russia. I thank ECOPROM CONSTRUCTION company for the decision to work in our republic. I hope that next year the new company will produce its first products for our builders,” said Radiy Khabirov.
Earlier, an agreement was signed between the regional Government, the Development Corporation and Ecopromstroy-Alga LLC on the implementation of industrial and production activities in the Alga SEZ. The initiator of the project plans to invest about 4 billion rubles in the creation of a plant for the production of building materials. The company will employ 85 specialists. The plant is scheduled to open at the end of 2027. The Development Corporation, as the management company of the preferential territory, accompanies this project.
– The Corporation’s specialists selected a land plot in Sterlitamak district for the implementation of the investment project and, together with the investor, prepared a package of documents for consideration of the initiative at the meeting. They also assisted in agreeing on the technical conditions for the organization of a free customs zone on the territory of the site. In the Alga SEZ, the investor is responsible for the project, and we are responsible for the conditions for its success. To do this, we provide the sites with infrastructure and support them at every stage. At the same time, the government supports investors with a system of tax incentives. As a result, the entrepreneur focuses on launching his production, significantly saving time and finances,” said Nail Gabbasov, CEO of the Development Corporation.
The investor thanked the regional team for supporting the project and said that this is Russia’s first automated aerated concrete production facility with a capacity of 400,000 cubic meters. m per year with high quality finished products. The project is aimed at ensuring stable supplies of building materials for the construction of housing and social facilities in the republic.
For reference: The Special Economic Zone “Alga” is located on 5 separate sites in Ishimbaysky, Sterlitamaksky and Ufa districts with a total area of 763 hectares. This placement of sites creates the basis for cluster development.
It should be noted that residents are provided with tax benefits. Thus, income tax is 2% at the federal level, and 0% at the regional level for 5 years, transport and property taxes are reset to zero for 10 years. It is noteworthy that the lease of a plot is 2% of its cadastral value per year, with the possibility of applying a reduction coefficient.
The Alga SEZ has a free customs zone regime. This ensures exemption from customs duties and VAT, including on imported materials and raw materials processed on the territory of the SEZ, on goods imported and sold on the territory of the Customs Union, when exporting goods recognized as foreign, outside the Customs Union, etc.
