The opening of the multi-brand production and service center of Belarusian equipment “Amkodor-Ufa” took place in Ufa. The center will service equipment manufactured by Belarusian holdings MAZ, MTZ, Gomselmash, Amkodor and other companies. The opening ceremony was attended by the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to Russia Alexander Rogozhnik, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Amkodor Holding Alexander Shakutin, CEO of the Development Corporation Nail Gabbasov, as well as heads of relevant departments.
The total investment in the creation of the complex amounted to about 350 million rubles. The production and service center was opened as part of the implementation of a priority investment project, which is supported by the Development Corporation. The machinery of the Amkodor-Agidel grain post-harvest processing plant, which already produces products in the Alga special economic zone, will also be serviced here.
The Development Corporation accepted the project for support at the initial stage, assisting its Belarusian colleagues in selecting a site for the construction of the center, preparing documents for presentation to the Head of Bashkortostan at the meeting of the Investchas and receiving state support. Together with the Ministry of Economic Development, the Ministry of Land and Property Relations, relevant departments and resource-supplying organizations, all issues related to the localization of the production and service center at the selected site, the organization of access roads and connection to engineering infrastructure have been worked out.
