The Development Corporation of the Republic of Bashkortostan and the Administration of the Free Economic Zone Grodnoinvest intend to promote mutual attraction of investments by developing foreign economic relations between Bashkortostan and Belarus. The parties consolidated their intentions with a cooperation agreement, which was signed within the framework of a workshop held in the regional government.
— We are systematically strengthening partnership relations with our Belarusian colleagues. Today we are faced with the task of developing foreign economic relations between the business community of Bashkortostan and the Grodno region. Thus, the signed agreement will be a step towards the promotion of initiatives in investment circles and the growth of mutual investments in the regions,” said Nail Gabbasov, Director General of the Development Corporation of the Republic of Bashkortostan.
It should be noted that on the eve of the Development Corporation, representatives of the Grodno Regional Executive Committee and the FEZ Grodnoinvest met with the management of the management company of the special economic zone Alga, the Industrial Development Fund and the Regional Leasing Company. During the meeting, the guests were told about the experience of managing preferential zones of Bashkortostan and current state support measures.
As Ruslan Kizelevich, Deputy head of the Administration of the free economic zone Grodnoinvest, noted, partnership with Bashkortostan is possible in various directions. In particular, joint projects in the field of woodworking, chemical production and mechanical engineering may become the most promising.
