Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Belarus Ilshat Tazhitdinov held a working meeting with Ferenc Kovac, the official representative of the Hungarian company Optimum Solar in the Russian Federation. The meeting was held at the Development Corporation of the Republic of Bashkortostan. Optimum Solar Group of Companies implements investment projects “Construction of a plant for the production of solar panels (batteries)” and “Production of rotary supports for solar panels” on the territory of the SEZ “Alga”. The total investment volume of the projects will be about 2.5 billion rubles. 120 jobs will be created at the enterprises when they reach the design capacity.
Optimum Solar has been operating in the solar energy market for more than 20 years and is a recognized leader in the production and operation of solar panels. It has about 187 thousand installed solar panels, which annually produce about 62 GW of environmentally friendly electricity.
“Even taking into account the difficult economic situation in the world, Bashkortostan remains investment attractive for many of our foreign partners,” Ilshat Tazhitdinov said. – The Hungarian side has indicated its high interest in continuing the implementation of the announced investment projects. For its part, the Government of the Republic is making every effort to create comfortable conditions for the investor in order to build and further operate the planned industrial facilities.”
During the meeting, Ilshat Tazhitdinov acquainted the Hungarian investor with the measures taken by the Government for the development of the SEZ “Alga”, with the planned dates of commissioning of its infrastructure facilities. Ferenc Kovacs informed about plans for further implementation of investment projects of the Optimum Solar Group of Companies, taking into account sanctions restrictions.
